A charming bakery on a busy street, delicious pastries, and staff with lively energy that makes people feel at home.
Having created a lively new interior design, Mirela came to me for a new brand identity. Being one of the oldest bakeries in Tetovo, founded in 1988, Mirela holds tradition dear while simultaneously embracing modernity with open hands. The new interior creates a modern and fresh feel, which is merged with some of the rustic, traditional details from the previous interior. The goal of the branding was to match and communicate Mirela's new brand personality and interior.
Mirela is a place that has become people's special spot, their habit, a place they go to because of how it makes them feel, a favorite breakfast spot.

A Refresh
The logo tells all about Mirela's fresh modern shift. It captures the new ambiance of the place with a flow of sleek lines and polished elements. Its abundance of negative space was created to complement the details of the decorated interior.
At the focal point is the bakery's name in a script font with a handwritten look that creates a traditional and intimate feeling. Below the name of the bakery, the logo proudly speaks about Mirela's origins in 1988, as one of the oldest bakeries in the city. The wheat poses as a symbol of the brand's roots as the originating ingredient and foundation of its pastry recipes.
The classic, black-and-white color palette of the logo design plays in a balancing harmony with the lively colors of the interior - the fresh mint green that calms the eye and the pop of peach that makes the place look sweet. The logo also pairs well with the supporting earthy colors of the interior.

Highlighting Mirela's unique recipe with olives, the traditional Burek recipe, and its most famous croissant.
